    Exclamation Face paint

    Hi guys!

I am still curious about the face paint... Muta used face paint as you know... I'm sure its not water colour.
Then what? Tempera? or something else?
Maybe silly question but eh...forgive me
    And thanks for any help!

I do not know what Muta used, his seemed to differ from the Roadies and Sting. If memory serves me the US painters used typical stage make up which was used to create the likes of Darth Maul and too many zombies in B-rated movies.

First of all, "tempura" (if that's what you meant by "tempera") is deepfried seafood and vegetables.

I'm not sure what they actually use, but like Dan said, some wrestlers seem to use different stuff from the others. I may be wrong, but I don't remember Kabuki's paint coming off as easily as, let's say, Sting or Muta.

It's ok. I wasn't sure either. I've seen many people misspell "tempura" (and many other Japanese words).

Yes and no. What I was always told was that the mist itself was food coloring and water. But it is filled into a small condom and given to the worker either beofre or during the match by a ref, a photographer or a manager. the worker bites down, pops the capsule and spits the mist
