I buy DVDs from purodvd.com . Their selection is great, and you can save a few bucks by ordering without cases. I've only had 1 disc from them that had any problems, and that's because it was rattling around in the case and got scratched. They don't sell originals, however... everything is a burned disc. You may have to check their DVD player compatibility list.

I agree with the above comment.

I recommend me. My prices are much more reasonable, and if you need something I don't have, odds are I can get it from Japan taped satellite to DVD. There are only a few things I ever charge more than $4 per DVD for. And unlike some other people (*cough* IVP Videos *cough*) if I screw up and cause your order to be delayed, I give you something free to make up for it.

I get most of mine from www.goldenboytapes.com, he is pretty quick and when he sent me the wrong thing on accident once he fixed the problem (and I got the free tape).

I have ordered from this Tradewynd fellow, so once I get them I will report back with the quality of his DVDs.

    PuroresuDVDSource, IVPVideos or Jeff Lynch.

For Lynch you have to email him and he'll tell ya about you having to send him $25 for his catalog, wich is huge (1,000+ pages) and he's problaly the best out their to get stuff from.

I ordered stuff off PuroresuDVDSource once and their VQ was great, but the shipping was kinda slow.

I also ordered once from IVPVideos and their really good, I had ordered first 3 DVD's off them and he had lost my order, so I contacted him and he told me he lost my order, but would throw in 2 extra DVD's for all the trouble and once I picked out the 2 extra DVD's he quickly shipped everything out.

Oh and not trying to be a douche, but Tradewynd you should go and do good first with the people off the Crazy Max message board before you continue $hilling stuff. Seriously, ya'll should check this thread ---> http://www.crazymax.org/viewtopic.php?t=45202 off the CMAX message board, before ya'll order off Tradewynd.

People who have problems with me tend to fall into one of three categories:

    1) We agree on a trade. He agrees to send first, and only sends part of what he owes me. I contact him asking him to send the rest and get no response. A month later I "ripped him off" because he didn't live up to his end of the agreement.

    2) Someone orders discs at a time I am very up front about having an obscene amount of backlog, and probably ordered 100+ discs. Before I've even had time to start on his discs I've already "ripped him off."

    3) I made some kind of clerical error. The discs are done, the package is addressed and I forgot to take it to the post office. I lost your address. Or made some other stupid mistake that can be easily resolved with a little bit of communication.

    Or more rarely:

    4) I am having serious computer problems, such as my hard drive no longer spins (leaving me without a computer and reasonable internet access) because Maxtor sucks and all of your info is on that hard drive. This is what I'm going through now.

Sorry Tradewynd, I wasn't really trying to be a douche at all, I was just pointing that out.

Since I have traded and brought from Tradewynd, I can vouch for what he says. He isn't fast, but he doesn't claim to be fast . But his disks all work and his prices are better then all websites that sell disks, so you save money but it might take a bit longer then if you order from IVPvideos.com or purodvd.com. At least he keeps contact about how much longer it will be, and he doesn't lie like some sites that promise things in a week but it takes a month... Tradewynd will tell you up front it will take a month. And he did throw in a few free DVDs last time I ordered from him since it took awhile. Since Tradewynd does a lot of orders in bulk (50 to 100 DVDs), the time is just longer. So it just depends on what your priorities are on who you deal with.

I just ordered the 7/18 NOAH show from purodvdsource.. but in my haste forgot to contact the webmaster first to see what format these DVDs are in... does anyone know if they will play on standard american DVD players or a PS2??

    I'm really hoping I didn't just waste 15 bucks...

I have an increasingly growing list of original Puroresu DVD's, and can do top quality rips if anyone is interested! PM me your e-mail address if you would like a list.

I have never ordered from purodvdsource, but I would expect the DVD's to be in NTSC (US & Canada) format. And the discs will only fail to work in a PS2 if they are cheap, poor quality discs.

Tradewynd has a lot of rare footage, and I had no problem with his discs.

However, I can't currently recommend PuroDVD.com, as I have been waiting since May for 24 DVD's and he won't even reply to my e-mails! I recommended him in the past to several people, and this is how he repays me!

Ah, so this is a good news bad news situation then. My DVD will play, I'll just have to wait another year to receive it.

    Thanks for the info, jgdc.

Anyone have any info on why both RF and Highspots don't carry NOAH tapes anymore though? That strikes me as very odd.

Naw, you're cool. PuroDVD.com and puroresudvdsource.com are two different places. And they should play in just about anything.

Maybe NOAH have threatened them with a lawsuit?
Wasn't it RF Video who were sued by DSE? Or was that someone else?
