Is this good for my first puroresu purchase?

I LOVE highflying. And remember, this is my first purchase.

The Osaka Pro stuff sounds good. Any Osaka Pro is good. I wouldn't recommend the other stuff you mentioned though. I'd recommend any Michinoku Pro stuff from 1996 instead. And maybe you should just get the New Japan "Super J Cup 1994." That's a show you must see and it's always recommended to people who are new to puroresu.

If you like High-flying, there isn't anything wrong with your picks. You could also go for the Super J. tournys or some luchadore stuff. Toryumon isn't necessarily the best thing to start off watching in puroresu, since it can get so complicated (especially T2P), but it's good stuff, especially if you like spot-fests.

if you are into death matches, any deathmatch compilation or anything from Big Japan or FMW is good.

If you like Strong Style, get some of the New Japan and All japan tapes, especially the older ones when Mutoh was not in control of AJ.

You might want to check out Zero-One too. Alot of wrestlers in the American indys wrestle there, like Low-Ki, Spanky, and Steve Corino, as well as people like Masato Tanaka, who you might be familiar with.
