Entrance/Match Announcements translation question.

Hi, my very first post here, it's awesome to be able to converse with many other Pro-Wres fans.

One of the major questions that's plagued me over the years is what's being said during the entrances and more importantly during the start of the match announcements. If it's a very important match I like to say the stuff along with the announcer but I know I'm definitely not pronouncing everything 100% correct. I've been learning Japanese through anime and puroresu, but I've got a lot to learn

I know before a certain wrestlers comes out they have a little speech which ends with "Newju!" or something to the sort and they have a unique phrase for when Muta's about to come out. Are they just literally saying "so and so" is "about to make their entrance?

Also the biggest one more me is this: Tokubetsu Shingurumacchi Sanjuppun ippon shobu raimasu! (I believe that last word is wrong, phonetically it sounds more like "gureimasu" I believe.) What's that last word?

I'm pretty sure it means A Special Single Match, with 30 minute time limit, and 1 fall to finish, not sure what the last word is most likely "is to be held!"?

Sometimes they add so desu no (?) me-n'ebento before it which I'm pretty sure is just "This is the main event!"

Now for this last one I know I'm going to butcher the pronunciation of this but when the wrestlers are in their corners the announcer goes

"aoi (blue)/aka (red) mietsju ni a pponto.....Kobashi Kenta!" or obviously any other wrestler. What's being said here and what's the correct words? Are they saying ladies and gentlemen this is: or is it supposed to be from Japan this is:? I'm probably completely off but that's my two guesses. I have the feeling it's from Japan heres:, because I believe they say a different phrase for the Gaijin performers.

Yes, something like that.

"nyūjō" = entering (to the arena/building/etc)

I don't remember what they say for Muta. "sanjō", "tōjō", or "kenzan"?

Red corner is more important of the two and is usually for home wrestler, seniority, or champions.

They would also add the name of the title for the title matches.

Thanks for the awesome reply, I found this very helpful. I never knew the red corner was more important, I guess you learn something new all the time. I'm surprised anyone wrote back honestly, it seems like the forums aren't very active, which is a shame.

Yeah, it's largely my fault. I used to put more up-to-date news here but stopped doing it. Also, this site used to have a lot of popups and in-vue ads and still does have a reputation as such despite the fact that I got rid of them long time ago.

Now it has become more like a Q&A forum between me and few others, which is fine with me. It's still much easier than replying the same questions via email over and over or surfing around other English puroresu forums to correct the wrong answers and common misconceptions.
