    I received this via email:

Thesz and Wahoo McDaniel Online Petition

It is a petition asking WWFE to acknowledge both Thesz and McDaniel

I would like to thank SHAW for starting It
These "GOLDEN AGE GREATS" (in Tom B's words) should at least get that.

Hisa if you watched Smackdown there was a Wahoo McDaniel and Lou Thesz tribute on. I dunno if it was because of the petition or not,but it was on there

Well, they at least showed something. I doubt it had anything to do with the petition, though. Not much more we can expect from them anyway.

If you missed Smackdown last night, you can view the video clip here.

Jim Ross would mention it because he appreciates wrestling. Vince I think only did the damage control because the outrage over the internet and in certain papers on Tuesday after ignoring the issue on Monday.
The name of the game is wrestling!

I really did not expect Vince McMahon to say anything. He should have just taken a moment on Raw, but I was not surprised when he did not. Vince rarely mentions anything to do with wrestling history outside of the WWF unless it benefits him at the time. I was surprised Ross said nothing during his commentary though. When Austin hit the Thesz press and J.R. acknowledged it I found it strange when he said nothing at all.
