Try Animal Hamaguchi's Dojo, for both amateur and pro levels. Hamaguchi was like Terry Taylor here in the U. S., underrated as a wrestler, but a trainer of the best talent.

You just missed the New Japan dojo tryouts; they'll be held at around the same time next year. You'll have to be really, really, fit though, don't just turn up, or you could seriously injure yourself. You need, and I cannot stress the importance of this, a combat sports/martial arts background; it'll increase your stamina, and make you a more attractive prsopect.

Between now and next year (if you seriously want to try out), enroll in the toughest martial arts gym in your area, studying something like tae kwon do or muay thai (known to be the toughest martial arts) and sign up for as many athletic activities as you can; track and field, shotput, discus, soccer, whatever; just improve your fitness, get into great shape, and then think about trying out.

You'll also need to sort out a visa.

If you are under the age of 18, don't bother trying out until you are; use theextra time to study martial arts and athletic sports.

If there's a rugby club in your area, try that; rugby builds toughness, speed and physique.
