Who still could make it in the US

Well iv heard who you think could have made it in the US in the past but who do you think could make it now?

Iv not seen much of them from the past 2 years or so but I think CIMA and SUWA could make it as a tag team in the WWE. They both have "the look" and I think there style would get them over.

Frye, Singh, Tenzan, Sasaki, Jado & Gedo (in WCW) are a couple that can still make it...

The giants are not very good!!! Silva gained so much weight... he's slow, not so coordinated!!! Singh is very muscular, but also stinks!

Mind you, that doesn't necessarily mean they couldn't make it in the US!

I think Frye or Magnum Tokyo (I know he didn't get over in WCW but I have a good feeling about XPW or XWF or something like that) have the best chance to make it

Oh yeah, the giants could make it HUGE, just like the Big Show...

Anyway, I don't think SUWA would go over too well. Since he's a cruiserweight, he has to be real flashy to get any kind of crowd responce. He's not Mr. Charisma, either. CIMA or Magnum TOKYO, however, could make it as big competitors on the midcard. Basically, if you want to bring in cruiserweights, they have to be flashy, high-flying Great Sasuke-types, and not ground based, technical types like Gran Hamada. As for heavyweights, most WWF uppercarders aren't willing to work with the generally stiffer wrestlers from Japan.
That said, I think Ohtani could get over nicely as a heel.
    Signature pending.

Vader? Giant Baba? Terry Gordy? Rock? Terry Funk? Antonio Inoki? Hulk Hogan? Brock Lesnar? Triple H? Akira Taue? Mike Awesome?

I don't think Silva and Singh are good wrestlers, but their height would get them jobs and pushes in the WWF, so theoretically they could get over in America on size alone (as long as they weren't wrestling). If used in a role like 911 was in ECW, it would be alright I guess.

Depends on the promotion. A puroresu-inspired company like ROH could certainly use many Japanese wrestlers to great effect, especially ones from a lucharesu background. Even more sports entertainment-oriented places like NWA: Wildside and TNA or even CZW could get Japanese wrestlers over with the fans. I remember ECW's Barely Legal and the Michinoku Pro 6 man tag stole the show by far. Also, people like Masato Tanaka and Yoshihiro Tajiri got over huge in ECW for continued amounts of time. The WWE is far more problematic; we all know how they treated talent like Taka Michinoku, Dick Togo, The great Sasuke, and even the Jumping bomb angels. I mean, they have a "Bronze Warrior" now For people who could make it in the WWE, I think alot of the Toruymon guys could get over and lucha-inspired puroresu in general. I think that even people like Tenzan or Chono or Nagata could theoretically get over if they still had the more "puroresu"-like Smackdown they had a few years ago with Benoit, Mysterio, the Guerreros, Angle, Hass and Benjamin, etc. Hey with Heyman in charge, who knows. But it seems highly unlikely now. What gets me is death match wrestling in the us could be so much better if they actually respected the Japanese workers they had and used them to create a legitimate product, as opposed to the XPW/CZW/IWA ineptness we see.

Inoki and Gordy are over 6'-4"?

Everyone forgot that Silva wrestled in the WWE/F before (Read: The Oddities). If there was anyone who could get over in the states it's Kojima, Nagata (he has that Benoit aspect to him, plus he can carry a match), Tanahashi, CIMA, Magnum TOKYO, Great Sasuke, Kea, Honma, Naruse, Kakiharai and Togi (mom named you Shinya, I call you Shinya) Makabe.
