FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Big Time Wrestling Joins Japan's Underground Battle Jam Network
Big Time Wrestling had a very successful event on Sunday, July 28, 2002 in Fort Worth, Texas at the North Side Community Center. One match in particular, however, has caused some changes in the affiliations of Big Time Wrestling. This match, contested under the rules of the Japanese organization Total Athletic Martial Arts, or T.A.M.A. and fought between Tad Murphy and Prof. Takada, caused the network of Professional Wrestling organizations to which the T.A.M.A belongs, the Underground Battle Jam (UBJ) Network, to vote unanimously to bring Big Time Wrestling into the network.
Big Time Wrestling, along with the UBJ Network, will bring Classic style, hard hitting, Professional Wrestling back to the United States and Japan. Also, the matches designated as T.A.M.A. matches, will from now on be titled Mega-Fight rules matches. Mega-Fight matches will focus on submissions and knockouts over pin falls, and will consist of three five-minute rounds.
By joining the UBJ, Big Time Wrestling now has access to athletes and organizations from around the globe who share the same focus on wrestling above all else. Because of this newly formed alliance between Big Time Wrestling and the UBJ Network, expect to see UBJ-affiliated wrestlers appearing in Big Time Wrestling soon.
