Jushin Lyger will be working Pro Wrestling KAGEKI's 11/10 Club BA-COO show, facing company boss and top star, Azteca, in a singles match.
Azteca recently worked a New Japan vs. KAGEKI six man tag on the G1 Climax tour, and previously teamed with Lyger against El Samurai and Tiger Mask IV on the Summer Fight Series; this will be Lyger's first indie match since MPro's anniversary show.
Yes, it's just a small independent promotion that mainly runs shows in bars; Azteca, the guy who runs it, is friendly with Delfin, and so KAGEKI guys sometimes pop up on Osaka Pro shows, but that's about the only exposure it gets.
It's centered around the southern city of Fukuoka (Fukuoka in ancient times was called Hakata, so they named its main title the Hakata light heavyweight title).
I'd like to know if KA*GEKI has a website. The link provided here at puroresu.com doesn't seem to work.
I met Asian Cooger (odd spelling, eh?) when he came through NWA-ECCW here. He was wearing a KA*GEKI T-shirt. Unfortunately, his English is a bit lacking, so I couldn't ask him much about it. Anyone familiar with his work?
He works for a ton of differant companies: IWA-J, DDT and Pro Wrestling Nightmare (Motegi's sleaze fed) are his main ports of call, although he's booked for upcoming WMF shows; I like him a lot.
