    Wrestler of the 1990s

Please judge by the wrestler's achievement in independent organizations between 1990 and 1999, not by your preference.

Please vote on the poll in the "FMW" board if your choice is listed there.

Tenryu ran WAR. He should win for that alone.

I have never seen Tenryu (I will only choose guys that I have seen at least once) and I am not such a gedo and Jado fan, Tajiri is great, but I choose others, my choice being ikuto Hidaka. He fights in ROH, Zero-One, etc. I'm sry, but other than Tenryu, ur choice in this category is by preference, and I stated that I have never seen Tenryu, so I choose Ikuto Hidaka.

Mr. Mask, you owe it to yourself to go buy some tapes of Tenryu. He's not winning this by a landslide for nothing. My comment was based on respect for what WAR was, and if we're talking about contributions to wrestling in the 90's, no one can come close to legend that WAR has become. No offense, but Hidaka, especially in the 90s, isn't worthy of lacing the boots of Tenryu's legacy.

I understand what u are saying tradwynd, I have never seen Tenryu, I will someday. I promise, when I get money, I will get some Tenryu stuff. I promise. And I bet my choice would change when I see some of his stuff, but for now, my choice is still Ikuto Hidaka. I really like hidaka. But my opinion may change once I see Tenryu for once. And plus, I have only seen one WAR match ( back in like, '94 or '95, it was a match of Dos Caras vs. El Samarai, where Caras won, I saw it on the best of El Samarai compilation tape that I got off of highspots.com.)
