I've heard of this promotion over the web when I was browsing the Offical Necro Butcher website's forums.
Apparantly Necro and Mad Man Pondo won a Tag Team Tournament at a recent event so I was wondering what type of promotion it is and where can I get tapes?
All I know about F!CK is that is supposed to be indy sleaze. I have 3 or 4 of their comm tapes on the way from a trade. I'll let you know once they get here.
From the pictures I saw they seem to be a lot like Big Japan in the way they mix wrestling with hardcore... I think they had some sort of Light Tube Deathmatch for the finals of the Tag Tournament.
I've finally watched all of those three F*CK shows, and I'll give a little bit of info about them.
There weren't as many way way WAAAAY over the top crazy gimmicks as I had expected. A few Ultraman ripoffs here and there, but nothing overly innovative. With the exception of Kuma-san. The dude playing the character was dressed up as a giant golden teddy bear, and looked almost exactly like Bonta-kun. The crowd went nuts for him through his whole match. Another highlight was Senshu Riki, who does a Chosyu parody. That guy is funny.
On two of the shows there a tournament to crown a World's Dangerous Fighting Mega Brass Knux Battle Champion or something with at least that many words. Glenn Spectre and Shirley Doe appear on those two shows. Doe's gimmick is apparently yelling out the name of the worker he's going to rip off before doing a pathetic job of stealing their spots. It's really lame. Another low point was Glen Spectre. This was the first time I've seen him work, and I don't know why people put him over so heavily. He does the gay gimmick the way Laz does it, where it seems like getting his gay spots in is more important than the match itself. Danshoku Dino does a lot of gay comedy spots but at the end of the day he's there to wrestle, not grope his opponent and make out with marks. The true low point of the shows is during a backstage interview with Spectre and Doe. The interviewer asks why they came to Japan, and Glen says "I came here to ****, I hear Japanese men have tight ***holes." Not only is that way too much information, but it had absolutely nothing to do with the match he was supposed to be hyping. At least I hope not.
Dino appears on one of the show, and defends one of DDT's titles. After the match Spectre comes out and they argue about whether American gay or Japanese gay is better.
One of the shows has some post-show dark matches, which about 3 people stuck around to see.
On the two shows I have from 04, they used a gaijin ring announcer, and all of the announcements and ring intros were made in English. At one point the ring breaks and he announces an intermission, and given the blank looks on everyone's face they clearly had no idea what he said. So someone gets on the PA and says "go by merch, but save money, because we're going to want you to buy more at the regularly scheduled intermission" in Japanese without being quite that pushy.
Overall, it's a good time. They should have saved their money on plane tickets for the gaijin though. That money would have been much better spent on bringing in Hirota Sakura to dress up and Kuma-san and run Kuma-san vs. Kuma-san in the main event.

Sounds just like DDT meets Hustle1, LOL

Recently I got a three more tapes of this promotion from a friend...
Two were just regular shows and the other was a Tag Team Tournament which were all held in what looks to be their training facility inside of a garage.
Kenji Fukimoto looks as if he's the owner of the promotion or at least heavily affiliated with them as he always seem to be in the main event in some sort of Hardcore or Death Match.
He's basically your generic extremist who comes out to W*ING's version of "Danger Zone" by Kenny Logins though you've got to give him credit for destroying himself for such little exposure and possible little money.
There was a Magnum Tokyo rip-off on one of the tapes who's name I can't remember (as I had no listing apart from the Tag Tournament) who during a tag match with two blue aliens got abducted, apparantly, after the match.
For the Tag Tournament they brought in Necro Butcher and Mad Man Pondo (with I think it was his wife but I can't be sure) which they probably got cheap because Necro and Pondo were currently on tour with BJW at the time of the tournament.
I should note that Necro turned up looking to be drunk as hell but still amusing to watch with his comments towards the referees and other wrestlers. ^_^
Also there are a lot of other wrestlers who seem to be very green...
Which had some really funny moments when in the tag tournament when one of the guys botched a sunset flip... we go to backstage footage where Necro apparantly wanted him to kick him in the chest... we go back to live action and Necro just stiffs the **** out of him.
Another is Necro cajoles Pondo to punch a Chinese-themed dude in the face, then calls the guy Bruce LeRoy, and when Pondo pokes Shanghai in the eye and kicks him in the nuts, Necro hollers, "SHONUFF!"
The finals of the Tournament was a 100 Light Bulbs Death Match which was fairly entertaining to watch.
Also they had this joshi wrestler called Cutie Commando who wears a Cat Woman-style mask, seemed to be a poor wrestler though is pretty nice to look at.
At the end of the day if you want sleaze the Fighting Ultimate Crazy Kings is the place.
