I was wonder since I've been hearing these two names for the move. In the Fire Pro games, I see it as "Sutaadasuto Puresu" and I hear it as "Fenikkusu Supurasshu" when listening to the play-by-play and commentating in a match.
Also I've been told that Lyger invented the move and not Hayabusa but I heard that the "Firebird Splash" aka the 450 Splash goes by the Phoenix Splash move name...
Can somebody help me here?
Thanks.
Fire Pro does have the Stardust Press (which I've also seen as Phoenix Stardust Press) down as the Phoenix Splash.
To my knowledge, Hayabusa invented the Stardust Press variation of the 450, and I've never seen Liger or anyone else use that move. Liger invented the Shooting Star Press though.
I've never heard Hayabusa call his 450 anything other than "Firebird Splash", but since he names so many moves around the theme of the mythical renascent bird, no wonder there's some confusion in the end!
I wish...
Sadly, I've got to be content just being a black belt in Joe Son Do But maybe someday I'll take up RIP martial arts and go on a quest to avenge Greg Stott (Preferably in 50 years time when Mark Kerr is in a wheelchair, though)
Greg Stott had his 15 seconds of fame at UFC 15 with his deadly RIP ranger techniques.
On the photo, Kerr is the one bringing the smackdown, Stott is the one bringing the ***
Well... Seeing that I have dedicated my life to studying the crappiest martial arts around , I thought that after Joe Son Do I might pick up Greg Stott's RIP martial arts, which could defeat any style he bragged (only to get KOed in 15 seconds by Mark Kerr).
Of course, that would involve going on a mystical quest to avenge Greg Stott's loss and clear the name of RIP
