    Question Toryumon recommendations?

I just caught a couple of T2P matches on a compilation tape and loved it - awesome wrestling and interesting characters.

Can anyone recommend me some strong events/tapes from Toryumon?

    Thanks.

I would suggest the 4/22 El Numero Uno 2003 PPV, and the 6/29 5th Anniversary PPV. Both are two of the best top to bottom shows in Japan this year IMO, with many good-great matches.

I'd highly recommend the El Numbero Tournament 2003. The only other Toryumon video I have is Disembacamiento 1 & 2 on one tape, the T2P shows with the 6-sided ring. It's pretty good, but some of the wrestlers seem a little "unpolished"... (but Kinya Oyanagi and the Syachihoko Machines are a laugh).

I'd try picking one interesting wrestler (say, Dragon Kid) and finding a compilation tape of their matches.

Watching Uno, Dos, Tres 7-22-2003 (taped 7-13), my second Tory card. I liked El Numero Uno PPV alot. I also have Tory TV 7-27 I need to watch.

The tag match between CIMA/Don Fuji and Masaaki Mochizuki/Dragon Kid was INCREDIBLE. I dunno about star ratings and all but this was a 3-4 star match just for the pace, the spots, it was awesome, CIMA is awesome, everyone was simply on point. Great fed and my favorite puro. I haven't seen tons but I've caught a bit here and there and I really like the matches, the characters, the comedy, the wrestlers, great fed.

I also trade tapes if anyone is interested.
