    question about Great Sasuke's name

I was just wondering what "Sasuke" meant, if anything. Is it a name from mythology, or a job title, or a famous family name (I know it isn't HIS real name)?

The reason I'm asking is because there's a character in a comic book (Usaji Yojimbo from Dark Horse Comics, and really great read at that ) called Sasuke' the Demon Hunter. Since the writer/artist Stan Sakai goes into great historical detail with his stories, I was wondering if there was some kind of connection.

P.S. - Okay, the main character is a rabbit and the other characters are animals, but the stories are top-notch and worth reading!

Usagi Yojimbo is a great comic and it goes to show you how well stan sakai does his research. he is the man, nuff said. that and bunnies with swords are better than chipmunks with vocal chords.
