okay, these are probably two of the best high-flyers in the world today - amazing red in the Us, and dragon kid in japan... who'd you pick as the TOP highflyer between these two? since i don't have anyone from mexico, any guesses from there as well?
If you like those guys, you should look into Jack Evans, he does lots of crazy twisting flips and such.
Although I wouldn't consider him the best, I'd pick Red over Dragon Kid. He's had great matches with Ikuto Hidaka, AJ Styles, Low Ki and the Briscoe brothers.
red is the next mysterio. Its that simple. Mysterio was seen as so crazy for his time and red is doing the exactly same thing. If mysterio wasnt wrestling for wwe, you better believe that red would be there. He is about the only guy doing that stuff that good. Though jack evans 450 blue thunder driver (though he is the one taking the move) is AMAZING!!! Picture a belly to back suplex, but the suplexer pushes the suplexee in the air and the suplexee does a 360 and then the suplexer turns around and lands a huge sit out power bomb.
If the two fought, I'd pick Dragon Kid because he has more experience against better opponents. If Red signed to wrestle in Dragon's Gate (or MPro or Osaka) for an extended period of time, then it would be more even.
Proud enough for you to call me arrogant
Greedy enough to be labeled a thief
Angry enough for me to go and hurt a man
Cruel enough for me to feel no grief...
kind of suprised anyone woude think modern red woude have a chance. mabey if it was red of late 2001 he might be able to hold is own in a 6 man tag or something.
Dragon Kid. I think he's better at non-spot offense and his dragonrana is cleaner than Red's Red Star Press or Infrared. Besides, I like the logic of the move, a realistic variation of the hurricanrana, as opposed to Red's Sky Twister on drugs. I like Red alot though; once he did a no touch backflip over the ropes on a CZW show and after that, I really can overlook his blown spots. He tries so hard.
How about Dragon Kid vs. Jody Fleisch? I'm not sure they ever went one-on-one, but they both worked in Michinoku Pro for a bit as outside talent. If they ever met, I think it would have been in a 6-man. I'd like to see this match. I know Jody Fleisch wrestled Red in ROH, but they kept blowing their spots. I'd still go ith Dragon Kid with this one, but if Fleisch hit the 720 springboard DDT, it would be over. That's such a freaky move.
