When Mr. Gannosuke stripped Hayabusa of his mask and gear, that was shocking. I didn't expect to see Hayabusa unmasked at all let alone stripped of his gear completely, i.e. boots, gloves, mask, etc. You couldn't help feel sorry for him just lying there.
Actually I liked him as H, It showed another side of "Double E". It was an "I can be unmasked and still be just as mysterious" attitude he would have. When I found out he was H and Hayabusa was the same person, I began getting into the H charachter as much as He was when he was Hayabusa.
The only downside is having you sister tell you (me) that he is sexy and it repulses you LOL.

Hayabusa as H was still good: I like how he changed alot of his moves and turned into a different sort of wrestler. I even didn't mind incredibly much when Rey Mysterio Jr. lost his mask in wcw (I didn't think he had a bad look without the mask and he was still booked well in tag matches); though I hate the fact that he's not Rey Mysterio Junior in the WWE. But, on the whole, losing masks sucks and it should since it's often played up as a lost of respect. We should be upset when people lose their masks.
I know Ebessan left Osaka Pro in the spring, but I kinda figured he just changed his name to Ebetaro and kept his mask and gimmick. I don't know why exactly he decided to leave Osaka Pro, since his best matches were against Kamen and I'm not sure where else he can do his brand of comedy. DDT or DG? I'm pretty sure I've seen him recently in matches with a masked Kensuke Sasaki and a masked Hiroshi Tanahashi, where his outfit was different, but he still looked like Ebessan/Ebetaro...
I agree. Without his mask, Ebessan goes from "cool" to "surprisingly athletic tub of goo."

This is my first post ever so be kind. Ebessan/Ebatoro came to Dayton, Ohio for a Ring of Honor show and had a great 4-way match with Samoa Joe,Delerious and Jack Evans. The announcer said before the match that he had officialy left Osaka Pro ( I think because of increasingly infrequent dates) and had changed his name to Ebatoro. After the match he signed autographs and him and I traded grunts and nods in response to the language barrier. Great worker. Shame he unmasked.
I think companies in Japan should really watch who they put under a mask. This year AJPW put NOSAWA under that Space Lone Wolf mask and as soon as he debuted everyone knew it was him. lol anyways thats a little off the topic here.
