    Osaka Pro

I'm getting really into Osaka Pro these days, and I'd like to know if anyone have any history on them ?

When did they start ? Why did Togo, Yakushiji, Hoshikawa, Monkey Magic etc all dissapear ? What kind of business do they do these days ?

A lot of questions maybe, but it seems like you can get info on all organisations on the net these days, but I can't find any info beyond statistics on Osaka Pro. Anyone know any good links ?

    Thanks in advance

I'm going to try my best to answer these questions.

I think they started in 98 and the first card was on 4/29/99 (Thanks Hisa for the info on the first card Great webiste for info). I know Delfin left because he didn't like how Sasuke was in the spotlight all the time and didn't give the news guys a chance. Why everybody else left, well I don't know. Togo later left and disappeared then came back the Michinoku Pro and I have his return match. It's and awsome match.

I forgot to ask this question, but thanks for answering

I've always wondered why Delfin left MPW. Didn't really pay too much attention to news stories in 99-2000, so I missed out on some things.

With TAKA, Teioh, Togo & Funaki joining Vince and Shiryu going to Atlanta MPW took a very noticeable dive, no doubt. I love Toryumon and all, but MPW Kaientai days they ain't..........

Dick Togo split from Osaka Pro in early 2001 (not exactly sure of the date).
Naohiro Hoshikawa left at the same time and has joined ZERO-ONE, appearing on some NOAH shows in that capacity.
I'm not sure what happened to Masato Yakushiji but I think he split at the same time too.
I don't know who was under that Monkey Magic mask

Delfin left because Sasuke wouldn't let him carry the ball.

Yakushiji has retired. Too many injuries.

These days the main heel stable is FLUXxxx, lead by Gamma (former Michipro jobber Yoshihito Sugamoto) and several other heels including Daio Quallt (Masaru Seno), Big Boss Magma (?) These guys have an American-style heel manager, model Francoise Hirota.

The main defenders of Osaka pro are Delfin, former kickboxer Takehiro Murahama (who still does shoots once in a while and is still more talented than any of the Inoki stiffs) and Super Demekin (a younger version of Delfin).
