In an interview I've seen from 91, Aja Kong expresses the wish to be able to go one day to the States, wrestle there and get to meet her father. I always assumed that was one of the reasons she went to the WWF in 95 with Alundra Blayze. Does anyone know whether she fulfilled that hope?
Aja was really searching for her father around that time, but I never knew it was one of the reasons she wrestled for WWF. I thought it was only a part of the deal between All Japan Women's and WWF. The deal died out when Alundra left WWF. Had she stayed, she would have feuded with Aja for PPVs, I believe. They were really pushing Aja that time.
I haven't heard that she found him, but I could be wrong. She didn't even know his name at the time AJW was searching for him through their website.
I'm just guessing that that was one of the reasons that Aja joined the deal set up through Alundra Blayze (that, her monster heel style and the fact that her days as WWWA champion were over). I didn't know AJW had helped search through their website.
Hello to "The Franceman"...I couldn't help but notice that you like to search for wrestling news for both France and Europe...The reason why I'm bringing it up is I have a womens wrestling group called WomensWrestlingAroundTheWorld and perhaps you would be interested in checking it out as we hope to eventually cover womens wrestling from all regions and if you have news, reviews and results from those regions than we'd love to have you post them on the group...Amy Action a wrestler from Australia is one of the moderators and she will be posting results/upcoming matches from Australia...Also we have been having a number of women wrestlers and people from the wrestling community that have been joining the group as well...If you or anyone else would be interested in checking our group out here is the link for it...Thanks, Steve
