Ayako Hamada in America?

Pennsylvania indy fed Premier Wrestling Federation has posted on
their website that they are in talks to bring Mexican joshi superstar
Ayako Hamada to America. WOW! That would be fantastic. Despite what
it says on their site, Ayako works for GAEA and is co-holder of the
AAAW Tag Team Titles with Meiko Satomura.

There must be something to this rumor. Aja Kong and Devil Masami won the AAAW title tonight. I just wonder if she can find enough quality indy opponents to work with.

The question is she jusyt working for PWF or is she going to work for other feds. I have written them to find out. Ron Hutchison of the AWF would bring her to Toronto to wrestle Phoenix. That's a main event match anywhere in the world.

There is a couple pieces of circumstantial evidence for this. Zach Arnold is reporting AJW would like to go with a Momoe vs. Ayako main event for their 35th anniversary show 5/11 and Trocar Slush Weasel is reporting she has tentative plans for a June tour. She will be in Mexico for two weeks this month she just might take the time to work out some US dates. Keep your fingers crossed.

Yeah I saw that. I'm trying to find out more about it. Premier Wrestling Federation was talking to her but they recently lost the use of the Philadelphia Spectrum so it may not be them bringing her over.

I was kind of hoping she would hook up with Ring of Honor. I think they have built them up a good fanbase in the Philly area and have started running twice a month plus they're running a Massachusetts show this week. They must be turning a profit to be expanding like this. I'm sure they are familiar with her work through RF Video. JAPW is running an all girl show next month that I hope is successful perhaps they would be a fit. I'd like to see April Hunter vs Ayako Hamada. She could also hit OVW they have those Tough Enough women sitting around drawing paychecks not that she could get a good match out of them but at least she would be able to be seen by people with WWE connections. If she is coming right now would be a good time with the exchange rate like it is I question if she has any friends over here that are in the wrestling business though. She could appear in CMLL/AAA while she's trying to make connections over here Lady Apache could have some good matches with her if they are on good terms. It really depends on the AJW if she does appear vs Momoe in the 5/11 main event I think she will come over here at least for a little while.

The Premier Wrestling Federation has confirmed that Mexican joshi
superstar Ayako Hamada will be coming to work for them in June.
They're not accepting outside bookings at this time but that could
change as the date gets closer. Boy, you guys in Philly sure are
lucky.

Alexis Laree won the PWF Universal Womens Title over Simply Luscious last night in Quarryville, PA. That means Alexis is the likely opponent when Ayako Hamada comes in June.

I've got some possible dates from ayakohamada.com- June 8th,9th,13th, and 14th. PWF has "Xtreme Intentions 2" scheduled in Pottstown for the 8th so I think that is the show she has signed for them. I don't know about the others except babelfish translated the word Miami behind the 14th.
