Ayako Hamada went public today an announced that she would try to get a job in the WWF as a wrestler. Expect her to be backstage at WWF's Yokohama arena show on March 1st. She also has problems with the Japanese culture and customs being that she is half mexican so that could of played a part. With the WWF planning this Asian tour things have flying around quickly...Hamada and Zero-One...expect more news soon.

While I can understand why she wanted to leave ARSION, I just don't see why she would want to work in the WWF.....
My ***, just look at the track record of previous Japanese women wrestlers (or even just Japanese wrestlers in general) when they make it to the WWF........
Sakie Hasegawa, Bull Nakano, Cuty Suzuki, TAKA Michinoku (and the rest of Kaientai)...to name a few....
The only Japanese wrestler to gain any fame lately is Tajiri...and that only really happened when they locked a peice of T & A on his arm......
Its all a case really of how they use her. If they let her use her full range of moves and actually wrestle, she'd probably get over pretty well, as she's cute, she's better than any of the female wrestlers there right now, and has some unique moves that aren't used in the WWF right now. However, for starters she'd probably be forced to stop using her 3rd rope quebrada on the inside, and the Hamada-chan cutter, as they're too near to the Lionsault/Diamond Cutter, only a bit more spectacular. I also couldn't imagine her style working too well with the other WWF women, as (don't quote me on this) but as far as I'm aware, only Ivory has wrestled in Japan before, so I couldn't see Hamada's WWF matches being anything special.
Personally, I'd like to see her stay in Japan, but what are the options? Perhaps the best option would be for her to freelance mainly over at M-Pro, and work with the other freelancers such as ASARI there. She could maybe work some intergender tag matches with her dad too, as the Hamada's always seem to be well received when they wrestle as a team there. I'm not too big on the other joshi feds however (I'm a bit of an Arsion mark, as much as I hate that term), so how does everyone think she'd fit in elsewhere?
well, joshi puroresu popularity (and roster sizes) have been in decline for the past few months/years. Because of this, ARSION really was the best place for Ayako to be. The only other joshi fed that I could see her fitting into would be GAEA. She could have some cool high flying bouts with KAORU if she went there....
Another possibility could be AJW, but it has a bad habit of burying girls underneath their big name stars.
as for LLPW....I don't think her style would fit well at all
I haven't seen much of J'd, so I can't comment.....
JWP project....yeesh are they even still around? I lost interest after Cuty left.....
I'm crossing my fingers she returns to ARSION or goes to GAEA.
Being a big AJW fan, i would enjoy seeing her there, but they wouldn't give her the kind of push she deserves. They would tend to put their homegrown stars up there first, and maybe rightfully so.
Gaea would be her great also, she has a good link with Aja, but Nagayo would also want Satomura to overshadow Ayako, for the same reasons AJW would do the same with Momoe and Nanae.
To me, her best option would be to freelance it and work a schedule like Las Cachos, all over the place.
IF, big IF, she could make it in the WWF, them by all means go for it. But we all know, or at least think, she would get buried so far beneath everyone else, that it would just ruin her.
Mexico is also an option, but not a great one. She could do wonders for JWP or J'd.
If Paul E. gets more booking power in the WWF, and judging by Jazz beating Trish for the WWF Women's Title it looks like he is, Hamada COULD do great things in the WWF. If I were boking the WWF I would get Hamada to start at the Yokohama show and have her go over Jazz for the Women's Title in an unadvertised match. Maybe even have Heyman act as a mouthpiece for her once she returns to America. Although the days of American crowds poping for the Dragon Sleeper are long gone there is still some(albeit small) interest in the in ring product. And with Hamada, Jazz and Nora Greenwald the WWF Women's division could start consistantly putting on the best match on the card. Honestly, what would you rather watch, Hamada vs. Greenwald or Undertaker vs. Rock?
