Hi I'm quite new to Joshi (and this forum) and was wondering does anyone here have any recomendation's for Joshi tape's?.
I already own Draemslam I, Dreamslam II, Big Egg Wrestling Universe, ARSION Carnival 99, Complete ARSION Vol.3, Best of ARSION Vol 1 and AJW 35th Aniversary show but over then them show's I dont know what's worth getting.
I thought we'd done that topic before (cop-out answer)
I suppose it depends on what you like (total cop-out answer)
Seriously, you have a pretty good starting point, I think. If you enjoyed the Dreamslams and Big Egg Universe, you can pretty much be sure you'll also like anything AJW between 90 and 95. Their 80s stuff is often excellent too.
WrestleMarinepiad 90, Summer Typhoon 92, Dreamrush (you've already got the Dreamslams, so why not finish the collection ), St Final Dec. 93, Queendom II, Queendom Victory, AJW Destiny... the list goes on endlessly.
I also very much enjoyed any JWP shows from circa 95.
I'm not all that up-to-date on the most recent stuff, but I liked the AJW TV from Aug-Oct 2001, ARSION Starlet 99, ARSION Carnival 2001, ARSION TV Jan-Feb 2002...
I'd also give some love to Mima Shimoda's retirement show from AtoZ as well as the new show where Momoe Nakanishi wins the AtoZ world title even thought its not out yet
Cheap plug but come check out my site www.joshixworld.cjb.net We don't sell tapes but we have some very informitive and great people on our site message board that are more then willing to answer questions myself included. I also have things like columns, results, and bios for you to learn much more.
I've only seen 2 Mima Shimoda match's and I thought they were great, I loved the tag match She was in against Hamada and AKINO from Carnival 99, shame She's retired but I'm gonna look out for more of Her match's.
I'll continue the Mima lovin' with a recommendation for AJW Rage in the Cage. You haven't seen true heeldom until you see Mima and Etsuko wielding pastel chairs, my friend. Of course, as someone on this board told me, it's just your everyday typical bloodbath. I should also tell you that for a lot of folks I spoke to, '97 was when she was at her hottest, though I admit that Etsu was smokin in this one.
