Anyone know where I can get AJW tapes from the 80s? I would really like to see some of the classic match that took place back then. I know about the AJW classics tapes, but I'm looking for whole events, not clips. Can anyone help me??????
You won't find it. They were never packaged that way. The big event style of packaging was influenced by Wrestlemania and AJW didn't pick up on that until the 90s.
Well, Is there a way I can get Tapes with full matches. not just clips?
Why doesn't AJW package their 80s stuff like that now? I think they could make some money off of the nostagia. but what do I know, Guys like you,PUNQ, and Mike Lorefice are the experts, I'm just a beginner

The quality is fine. I haven't bought from him lately because I think he's too expensive.
Yeah his prices are a bit high, especially after shipping to Europe.
Do you have any of his Mimi Hagiwara, or Devil Masami comps? If so, what do you think of them? worth grabbing?
I've been watching joshi videos for over 20 years so I have stuff going back to the 70s. It's just easier and more economical to buy today because of the internet.

20 years? I have been watching wrestling on and off for 20 years but I only recently got into Joshi Puroresu.
is there any way I could persuade you copy some stuff for me??
Well, the one vcr is a problem, but NTSC wouldn't have been, I brought my NTSC vcr with me when I moved here.
Oh well I thought I would try.
I'm interested in anything you can tell me about certain wrestlers: Like Mimi Hagiwara for instance, I can't find any info about her. Can you tell me anything about her?
You seem to be the person to ask, any info would be greatly appreciated
I've said this before but it's amazing to me how popular Mimi Hagiwara is today 20 years after she retired. Mimi was a teen beauty contest winner who became a wrestler after Jackie Sato appeared on a beauty pageant TV show. Mimi had a short wrestling career because she started late at 21 and back in those days was forced to retire at 26. Considering her lack of size, she was a much better wrestler than you would think and was definitely over with the Japanese fans. Because of her age, she never got a big title push but did hold the All Pacific Title & the WWWA Tag Team Titles with Yukari Omori. Also, Mimi Hagiwara & Jumbo Hori appeared in the 1981 film All The Marbles AKA The California Dolls. I would say that her enduring popularity is because of her looks but she was also a strong worker. If she wasn't a good wrestler, I don't believe the looks would sustain that type of following after 20 years.
