Pimp me some joshi matches!

OK, I haven't watched joshi wrestling all that much lately and I want to buy some tapes of them.

I buy most of my tapes at www.triplecrowntapes.com which has a very wide selection of nearly all the Japanese promotions.

Which matches do you think I should get?

You really can't go wrong with anything from AJW from 1992 to 1995, tons of great shows there.

I can only recommend what I have at the moment:
Dream Rush
Dreamslam1&2
Wrestle Marinepiad 93
Queendom Victory 95

Also Arsion was great in 98 and 99, so you can't go wrong there either.

JWP from the 90s was pretty good too, if their contributions to the interpromotional era are anything to go by, I don't have any of their shows yet though.


I also recommend the AJW classics eps 5 & 6, two great matches from 1985. I'm definately going to buy more Classics tapes in the future.

Those suggestions are pretty good. Everything isn't for everyone though. For instance, I love Sakura Hirota, but she's wasted on lots of people. Anything with Kudo or Arisin Z are also winners in my book. I have a few of the shows Daishikaze mentioned and lots of other stuff that is required viewing.
