No one has mentioned it so I'm guessing that it has somehow slipped under the radar of everyone else here. It it my pleasure to announce some very good news. On the 17th of April Sumie Sakai will be running two shows under the heading "WE LOVE SABU" to help him out with his medical bills. Sumie is trying to promote a show. If it goes well she might even get a crazy idea like starting up a new promotion and getting Sakura to put the boots back on. But beyond that, there is something far bigger, far greater, something so momentous that it even eclipses my dear Sakura Hirota. This show will mark the return of the Princess of Puro, the blading beauty, the sister of subliminal seduction, the damsel of desire, the venus of viciousness, the goddess of garbage - her radiance makes the sun look like a mere firecracker, her smile enough to melt any man's essence, her crying face devastating enough to make anyone extract vengeance from the villain responsible for those tears, a flower whose beauty cannot be marred by blood nor sweat nor tears, not even a Hart shall be more pretty in pink than her, returning to the springtime of her youth one more time, dare we pray for one last run in the sun, I give you...MEGUMI KUUUUUUDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...
While I have been known to jest from time to time, I never joke when it comes to Megumi-sama. I worship the canvas she bleeds on.
That information comes from April Hunter, who is also on the shows, so it seems like she should be in the know. If she is lying I will tie her in a tourtise shell and whip her until she passes out from blood loss. Even then it wouldn't be enough.
I emailed Sumie asking for confirmation that Kudo was going to appear but haven't heard anything back from her. Maybe her Japanese isn't as good as mine. Or she's a little busy trying to promote the show, one or the other.
I got an email back from Sumie saying "Thank you for your support." I fail to see how that answers my question. There is no possible way that I screwed up one simple sentance either.
I don't think there was any bad intentions with the list of talent I got. It was the same one ZACH posted, and even though he likes MMA a little more than most of us, ZACH is the man when it comes to information. There is no question that she was advertised in Japan.
Technically, it was a list of talent that was scheduled to "appear" so I guess, to avoid false advertising, she wouldn't have to wrestle, but considering that her name was 7th on the list, and the first woman on the list, it would seem a rather safe assumption that she'd be there to wrestle. If she's not wrestling or getting naked why advertise her? ZACH said she was there, so I would assume she was Hido's ring second. SportsNavi has a picture of her and a bunch of people on the show doing the Sabu finger pointing pose, further validating her "appearance." If I ever get my hands on Sumie (who originally advertised Kudo), it's tourtise time.
Here are complete resutls, if anyone cares. Without Megumi wrestling, I certainly don't.
