What's with Emi Tojo? Just saw the newspaper in Tokyo, and it had a big pic of her and a bunch of guys having sex in a ring (at 1st Ring in Shinkiba?) for some AV video?
What's the deal? I wasn't able to translate the article. Something about a match with Drake, and Tojo lost.
What are the repercussions of this video now? Tojo will be turfed from any future cards? What?

A-HA! (pronoun trouble) It's not "He doesn't have to shoot YOU now", it's "He doesn't have to shoot ME now". Well, I say he DOES have to shoot me now, so shoot me now! // *BLAM* // Yooooooooou're deth-picable!
I think it was a match where whoever lost had to have sex with some guys surrounding the ring. Yumi Ohka and Kei Akiyama were very ****ed about that saying that she is potraying all joshi wrestlers and that they dont want fans to look at joshi wrestlers as sex symbols.
Yumi Ohka and Kei Akiyama[...] they dont want fans to look at joshi wrestlers as sex symbols.
And yet they put out their bikini DVDs and semi-nude (or nude) photo books, and want us to buy them, right? Sorry. That smacks of hypocrisy to me.
Hiromi Yagi was the one who gave me the paper in the first place. She and Tamada were upset about it, but not because it made joshi wrestlers look like sex symbols. They were more angry it made joshi look like prostitutes.

Yeah that is true about the photobooks. lol. I dont think their were reprocussions for Tojyo, then again I really dont know much Japanese so I couldnt read much of the article. Ohka and Akiyama also said that the porno should not enter the ring, since the ring is "sacred" place. But then again, I too question what she said. Wasnt there a match with Lioness and someone else who wrestled a naked guy in a Tiger Mask? Isn't that considered "porn"?
It's not like this is the first time naked girls have entered the ring. WWS did it for a long time, not to mention AVW and WWAV getting hardcore in a ring.
The footage was shot for an AV video, and the concept is exactly what AVW and WWAV do. You have a match, the loser puts out for the winner, and girls always lose. Jd' is trying to use legal action to prevent the movie from coming out, which I think is a bunch of crap. Unless Emi has a contract with Jd', and it specifically says no AV, whatever freelance work she does in her own time is her business. There's no way Jd' pays her enough to have a say in what outside paydays she can get. In the only Jd' show I've seen Emi is dancing around in a bunny suit with a bunch of her boy toys, so I don't see how this makes her look like more a prostitute than her normal gimmick does. Everyone know that you go to bunny girls for a good time.
In addition to legal action, the girls are demanding that a new ring be installed. Apparently the old ring is dirty now. As if they don't bring their boyfriends there and treat the place like a free love hotel when no one else is around.
I'm more surprised that they claim they're not all prostitutes. I had assumed that was why most of them (as in workers with sex appeal) were still wrestling for the crappy paydays. Make a pittance taking bumps but make up for it by making a killing using that semi-celebrity status on the street. I mean, what would you pay for Emi or Hirota Sakura or Hamada Ayako? That's what I thought.
