I recently found a top 90 Joshi List on another site, and I'd like to find out the heights, weights, finishers for these women. Any help would be much appreciated!
Jumbo Hori, Kazue Nagahori, La Galactica, Lucy Kayama, Mami Kumano, Mika Komatsu, Mimi Hagiwara, Mitsuko Nishiwaki, Nancy Kumi, Tarantula, Tomi Aoyoma, Yukari Omori, Yumi Ikeshita, and Yumi Ogura
I can't even tell you what fed they're in. Never heard of any of 'em.
I didn't first see any joshi until 1987, but didn't actually get into them until 89 or 90, so anything before that is not in the memory banks.

A-HA! (pronoun trouble) It's not "He doesn't have to shoot YOU now", it's "He doesn't have to shoot ME now". Well, I say he DOES have to shoot me now, so shoot me now! // *BLAM* // Yooooooooou're deth-picable!
I've heard of some of those. La Galactica wrestled in the early 80s in Zenjo (and maybe earlier than that too). She had a short run as WWWA Champion and I think had the UWA Title too. She lost the UWA Title to Jaguar in a unification match. Their feud, or at least parts of it, may have been reaired on Zenjo Classics.
Nancy Kumi and Lucy Kayama were a tag team in the late 70s/early 80s, and had the WWWA Tag Titles at least once.
If Jumbo Hori was Hori Yumi (and I have no idea if she is or not), she tagged with Jaguar for awhile in the early 80s, and probably held the WWWA belts.
I saw Hagiwara's name on a matchlist somewhere awhile ago, but don't even remember which promotion it was.
Considering that is all Bozo and I can come up with combined, I would assume that most of these girls were either a) low on the card during the 80s boom, had a few good matches but were cut by Zenjo since they really weren't needed and were never heard from again or b) worked in the 60s, 70s or early 80s, a timeperiod I don't know a lot about.
Yeah, I remember watching some of those wrestlers on TV.
All of them were AJW wrestlers, and most of them were main eventer in 70s or 80s. With an exception of La Galactica, who is a Mexican, all of them are Japanese.
I probably can get some more info once I go home tonight.
Yumi Ikeshita (b. 1958): wrestled from 1975 to 1981. She was a big heel and the leader of the heel stable "Black Gundan". Her team with Shinobu Aso, known as "Black Pair", had a big feud with the legendary Beauty Pair (Jackie Sato & Maki Ueda).
Nancy Kumi (b. 1961): debut in 1976. Face, completely. People who watched joshi puroresu back then still talk about her even today. She was pushed as a teen idol and also won WWWA world tag title several times. After retiring from AJW, she had a brief comeback in the old Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (not to be confused with JWP Project).
Mami Kumano (b. 1961): debut in 1977. She was a member of a heel stable Black Gundan.
Mimi Hagiwara (b. 1957): a quater-French, celebrity-turned wrestler. Face, of course. Became a model at the age of 14 and a TV celebrity when she was 17. Joined AJW when she was 21 to become a wrestler. She was one of the three main eventers in early 80s along with Jaguar Yokota and Devil Masami. Retired in 1984. Her typical routine was always about to lose the match until the last minute when she makes a comeback and win in an upset.
Tommy Aoyoma (b. 1958): wrestled from 1977 to 1980. Face, I think. She and Lucy Kayama also toured in Mexico and Los Angeles in 78, and after returning to Japan, the team of Kayama and Aoyama, now known as Queen Angeles, won WWWA world tag title.
Lucy Kayama (b. 1961): wrestled from 1977 to 1981. Face, I think. See above for Tommy Aoyama.
Jumbo Hori (b. 1963): wrestled from 1978 to 1985. As far as I remember, she was always a face. 180cm, which would still make her taller than average Japanese men even today. Former All Pacific Champion. Also teamed with Yukari Ohmori to win world tag title. Had a famous feud against the Crush Gals (Lioness Asuka & Chigusa Nagayo) while both teams were faces.
Yukari Ohmori (b. 1962): wrestled from 1980 to 1988. As far as I remember, she was always a face. Might have turned heel briefly, but I'm not sure. Former WWWA world champion. See above for Jumbo Hori.
Tarantula/Wild Kazuki (b. 1961): wrestled from 1980 to 1884. Real name is Hiroe Itoh. Heel throughout her career. Wrestled as Wild Kazuki earlier in her career, and I remember her breaking Mimi Hagiwara's finger once. Became the masked "Taratula" after 1982. A member of the heel stable "Devil Gundan", lead by, of course, Devil Masami.
Mika Komatsu (b. 1967) & Yumi Ogura (b. 1967): wrestled from 1983 to 1989, but Ogura briefly returned as the masked "Hyper Cat" in 1990. As far as I remember, they were always faces, but I left Japan in '87 and am not sure what happened after that. Former All Japan and World tag champs. Also toured in Calgary, where they had a feud with each other.
Kazue Nagahori (b. 1968): wrestled from 1984 to 1987. She was a face, but I don't remember much about her. The team of Nagahori and Ogura was known as Red Typhoons, and they won All Japan and World tag titles.
Mitsuko Nishiwaki (b. 1967): wrestled from 1985 to 1990. Her team with Yumiko Hotta, known as "Fire Jets", won WWWA world tag title. She was expected to be the next superstar after Crush Gals (I thought so, too), but she retired and became a model.
La Galactica is Pantera Surena, a legendary luchadora from Mexico. Born in 1955. She defeated Jaguar Yokota on 83/5/7 in a mask-vs-hair match and won WWWA World title. That was the first time ever in my life I saw a woman shaving her head. Since Jaguar always looked boyish, it didn't make much difference (at least to me). Later, Galactica lost her UWA title to Jaguar in double title match as already mentioned.
