First off, I'd like to say hi to everybody! I am an American who enjoys various styles of wrestling, and due to my love of chain wrestling and submission, I was told a while ago about Japanese "Puroresu" and a few specific feds in particular, and ever since I've been trying to gather information on various manuevers.
My question pertains to two manuevers not very descriptively entered in the old "big book of wrestling moves". The first manuever was listed as SAYA Endo's "Rising Star Suplex", which listed basically a cross-armed belly to belly with a leg hook similiar to a fisherman's suplex. It mentioned the arms were trapped, but never mentioned exactly how beyond "both victims arms are crossed over their chest and trapped under your armpit". Is this like a half-bearhug grip to hold the arms tight while grabbing the leg? Hopefully somebody has seen this move and can answer, it's been a long search!
And the second manuever was Kyoko Inoue's described in the same text as "Powerbomb, Argentine Backbreaker Rack Side Fall". Basically it said the "torture rack" position was hooked, but the attacker fell to their side while releasing the head and pushing the body up horizontal to the mat so the victim lands on their back. I'm assuming the attacker drops to the same side as the head is locked? And as for the move, is it like a Burning Hammer but a landing on the back instead of the neck or something else? Again, this seems to be the best place on the web to find out.
Thank you for your patience and time to answer these questions!
Second move : She starts like a Argentine backbreaker , yes , then it finishes off like a normal sit down powerbomb. I may be wrong but I am sure she does a move like this . It's a Argentine backbreaker into a Sitdown powerbomb, to be short.
The Towerhacker was listed in addition to this manuever. In other words, this one is not the same as a normal argentine backbreaker rack into a sitout powerbomb. Both moves are in the "big book of wrestling moves", the regular/impact moves as there's three sections: pin/suplex, submission, impact. I've never seen either, of course, so I was hoping somebody might have seen them or been able to answer. the "side fall" seems to indicate the attacker drops to their side while holding a powerbomb on the opponent behind them as they fall, but I don't know. Anybody else have any clues?
Well for the Argentine move thing, it sounds very weird. I think she does a type of modified Burning Hammer , it could be that , but the powerbomb thing confuses me.
Basically the move was listed as starting out like a Burning Hammer and ending with a "side fall", which is like a Burning Hammer, Death Valley Bomb/Driver, etc. Based on the way it read, I'm thinking she has the Argentine Backbreaker and then pushes the head free (as it says) so she can drop to her side with a falling powerbomb of sorts, since the hand around the opponent's neck would be able to cross the waist and thus, the body would land on the back like a powerbomb, with the attacker simply ending up on their left side (if the victim's head was on their left side to start with since I'd assume the attacker drops to the side the victim's head is on). Perhaps somebody who has seen the hold can help out, since that's the only thing I've been able to really put together from the description. The suplex SAYA Endo uses, I think I know but I'd prefer if somebody can confirm it or not. I'll be patient! And yes, a uraken is a lovely way to rearrange the facial features of somebody you don't especially care for, hehe.
Thanks, Kokushishin, but I'm still a bit lost if you could bear with me..
When you say the rising star suplex has both arms hooked with one, how are they hooked? Are they both against the victim's body like an "X" formation and if so, then how exactly are they locked?
And on the Inoue hold, does that mean she does push the opponent in front of her but drop to the side, or not push the opponent in front of her at all? I'm not entirely familiar with the "fireball bomb" you just described, my apologies.
the arms are just close together like they are being handcuffed. She overhooks both arms with her arm.
The opponent still lands in front, but Inoue is closer to the side from where they were thrown. Think of like a schoolboy pin, usually the opponent is grabbing one leg and on the side of that leg.
it's like
<<<I (opponent)
<<I (her)

Thank you for the assistance on the two holds! I've recently seen a move in which a wrestler overhooks the arm like you described (but only one arm on a belly to belly overhead) by wrapping their arm over the opponents so that's what led me to think about how the move was actually done, thanks for clarifying it.
And I do know what you mean now about the fireball bomb, I did some checking and found out about the position, etc so now I understand it a lot better. Thank you immensely for your help, and also to you Uraken!
