This is the line-up for the March 1st WJ Pro debut show. The card looks pretty bad, and it is actually running AGAINST the NOAH Misawa vs Kobashi GHC title match. Bah.
Anyway, here it is:
- Riki Choshu vs. Gen'ichiro Tenryu
- Hiroshi Hase & Kensuke Sasaki vs. Don Frye & Mr. X
- Shiro Koshinaka vs. Atsushi Onita
- Road Warriors vs. Todd & Mike "The Crushers" (yeah, this one really sounds like a classic)
- Yoshiaki Yatsu vs. Yoji Anjoh
- Tomohiro Ishii vs. Takashi Uwano
- Masahiko Kochi vs. Tomoaki Honma
yup...
I have seen the face of Satan, and his name is Bill Apter.
How old is Yatsu now anyway? He's one of my all time favourites, and I'm sort of looking forward to his match with Anjoh, but I get the feeling that he's like 50-something now.

Yeah, Ron Niemi from NWA Florida & IPW Hardcore announced about a month ago that the former NWA Florida, IPW, and NWA World Tag Team Champions The Shane Twins, Mike & Todd were signed to compete for WJ Pro
Doesn't look like much of a good card to me. WJ will probably have a better gate than the NOAH show though just because it is its first show. After that... (sounds of a bomb dropping, you get the idea )
You love me, you love me not, but you definately respect me!!!!
I.P.W. Hardcore Tag Team Title Match: Road Warriors - Animal & Hawk [challengers] (11'04" pin) Todd Shane & Mike Shane [champions]
* After the match, 10 count bell was given for late Curt Hennig with Warriors, Masa Saito, and Tiger Hattori in the ring.
No-rope Electric Barbed-wire Death Match: Shiro Koshinaka (8'05" DQ) Atsushi Ohnita
Takao Ohmori (12'53" pin) Kenzo Suzuki
Kensuke Sasaki & Hiroshi Hase (12'59" pin) Don Frye & Dan Bobbish
I read over at puroresufan.com that the show was just down right bad. Stuart said the crowd was quiet and didn't react much. Reports said that the Road Warriors looked awful. So basically I can see this promotion not doing to good. But knowing me I'll get the tape once it comes out so I can see how bad it is.
My lord, what is Choshu thinking...the Death Match sounds awful too, Koshinaka is really bad now. Maybe Omori\Suzuki and Yatsu\Anjoh were decent, but overall the show sounds really poor.

There's no question that it was terrible
On such a big night for Puroresu in general, most of it was a let-down, minus the NOAH card, which I hear was a tremendous success
