IWGP Heavyweight Title is vacant...AGAIN!

Due to Kazuyuki Fujita's injury to his achilles tendon he has vacanted the IWGP Heavyweight Title. So the new format for the title is a One Night Elimination Tournament with so far 3 participants- Yuji Nagata, Riki Choshu, Keiji Mutoh with 3 other participants to be named later, once they're named ill post them here.
This projected tournament will be on the Wrestling World '02 1/4/02 Tokyo Dome Show.

On a side note: Fujita has already had surgery and will miss 3 months.

Are you sure that Fujita loses his title because of the injury?

Nothing has been officially announced yet as of today. They haven't even commented on his injury although New Japan already made a change to the Tokyo Dome card.

I have heard from a reliable source that Fujita will not lose his title because of this injury but I do not read Japanese Puroresu news so I cannot confirm it.
