Details are quite vague right now, but reports out of Japan confirm the death of mixed martial arts cult favourite, Takayuki "Giant Ochiai" Okada, who passed away tonight following a brain-related injury. Okada suffered the injury while training in World Japan's dojo for a rumoured professional wrestling turn. WJ Pro has refused to accept any responsibility for his injury, which has caused mass outrage in Japan and is further hurting their reputation. Okada passed away at 4:30pm on 8/8, and was 30 years old.

Actually, Kenzo Suzuki was the trainer during this incident

You know the thing that bothers me is this: World Japan said they were not taking the blame in his death. That was a little bothersome to me.
I agree, and Choshu wouldn't allow access to Ochiai for his friends, and if I remeber correctly even his family.

Edge for Chosu to do that, and Hisa forgive me for typing this, that was hella-wrong. I see why Osamu Nishimura said what he said at the G-1 Climax Press Confrence.
