    WJ 08/23 results + Kenzo Suzuki news

    Takashi Uwano beat Kuniyoshi Wada (10:12) with a crab hold.
    Koichiro Kimura beat Masamitsu Kochi (9:05) by pinfall.
    Mike Shane beat Ichiro Yaguchi (13:00) by pinfall.
    Riki Choshu & Shiro Koshinaka beat Takao Omori & Mammoth Sasaki (14:15) when Choshu used a lariat on Sasaki.
    Dan Bobish beat Todd Shane (5:54) with an Argentine backbreaker.
    Genichiro Tenryu & Yoji Anjo beat Kensuke Sasaki & Tomohiro Ishii (17:28) when Anjo used a cross armbreaker on Ishii.

    Kenzo Suzuki has taken a leave of absence from World Japan for personal reasons. Some say that this is a de-facto retirement from World Japan, and that he is leaving.
    I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...

    $500.00 says he (Suzuki) goes back to New Japan after what happened with Giant Ochai. I think he wants to get far away from Chosu

    current status on Suzuki

    Suzuki has in fact left WJ and is currenty working as a construction while he tries to negotiate a contract.

    Kenzo Suzuki was on a dark match last night before Raw. He defeated a local wrestler.
    I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...

    Kenzo's was about the worst wrestler in New Japan last year (of course with the Old Guard). I just can't see Vince hire him for any reason...
