I just got a video (New Japan Battle Wonderland Vol.2) that has a few matches from something called the BVD Tournament, and the final was Inoki vs. Sting. I had never heard of this before... can someone fill in the details of the toury?

They didn't wrestle in their underwear I hope. I mean it being a BVD Tournament. Ok bad joke, this strikes me sort of curious too.

Thanks for the link... those were the matches on the video I have, but there were no other matches? Just those four competitors?

Were there any other tournaments?

No it was a one time deal, basically it was to put Inoki over during his retirement countdown.
