Hello to all! This is my first time here and I hope to get involved in some interesting discussions.
This is year also makes a few other "firsts" as we (HCW) took on the stars of NJPW in Chono, Nagata, Liger, and Tiger Mask IV. It marked the beginning of a newly-formed working alliance between New Japan Pro Wrestling and Hawaii Championship Wrestling and with 1,000+ fans in attendance, it was a true blessing and a good sign of what may come in the future.
In response to another thread about the results of BATTLE HAWAII 2003, yes the NWA does "promote" here in Hawaii, but I and many others really don't think they're a fair representation of who should represent this state as the "best"... anyway...
We here at HCW are about to have an exciting year, and I'll keep you posted on any further developments regarding our relationship with NJPW.
Thanks!

Thanks guys! I can tell you this much, our former champion Lopaka will not have to wait until next year with a rematch with Chono, but that's all I can say.
Also, rumor has it that a NJPW fighter could make his way to the 808 state sometime next year to leave his mark on some HCW Dojo Trainees .
