Jim Steele, who has been sidelined since blowing out a knee in February, will return to New Japan shortly. Steele will reform his successful team with Mike Barton and enter the "G1 TAG LEAGUE 2003". In their only previous entry into the G1 Tag League, they made the final of the 2001 installation, losing a much heralded bout to Tenzan & Kojima. This time, they plan to debut a finishing combination move, and they brought up how they were originally scheduled to challenge then-IWGP Tag Team Champions, Chono & Tenzan, in February, but couldn't due to Steele's injury. Hence, they are looking for a shot at the team that eventually dethroned Chono & Tenzan, Yoshie & Tanahashi, and may use the G1 Tag League as a way of getting that.
About time this excellent gaijin duet could reform. The G1 tag league, scheduled for next month is starting to take shape.
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...
Barton & Steele had themselves a RAW dark match last night, any word on their status with New Japan??

Why would Vince want the Artist Formerly Known As Bart Gunn Back anyway? Barton is just fine in New Japan. But I do forget his old buddy and Tag Team partner works for them (John "Johnny Ace" Laurenatis)
