IWGP junior tag team title vacant, tournament to decision match.

For the first time ever, the IWGP junior tag team title has been vacated due to Koji Kanemoto being injured in his cheekbone by a punch from Kazunari Murakami yesterday in Yokohama. As Hirooki Goto & Ryusuke Taguchi had earlier won a tournament to become No. 1 contenders, they will automatically go into the decision match; however, there will be another tournament to determine who they face. The teams in this new tournament will be: Jushin Liger & El Samurai, Gedo & Jado, Tiger Mask IV & Heat, and Katsushi Takemura & American Dragon.

    11/24/03 at Tokyo Korakuen Hall:

Semi Final: Tiger Mask IV & Heat vs. Gedo & Jado
Semi Final: Jushin Liger & El Samurai vs. Katsushi Takemura & American Dragon

11/29/03 at Miyagi Sports Center, Sendai, Miyagi:

Final: Winner of Team Tiger/Team Jado vs. Winner of Team Liger/Team Takemura
IWGP Junior Tag Team Title Decision Match: Hirooki Goto & Ryusuke Taguchi vs. tournament winners

Well apparently (according to puroresufan.com) The artist currently known as Bryan Danielson has joined the Rudo Clique as it's 4th member or so Takemura says.

Well I'm hoping for Jado & Gedo, they're really fresh with their new gimmick and would make great champions for a long run like last year!

    Oh, IDKT.

It would surprise me if GotoGuchi (Hirooki Goto and Ryusuke Taguchi) won, If Tiger Mask IV and Heat don't win it, Liger and Samurai should hold them.

But as a counter point, it would be wise if they did let GotoGuchi win the belts, start pushing the young lions of NJPW.

IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match Entrance Tournament - Semi Final: Jado & Gedo beat Tiger Mask & Heat (15:24) when Gedo used the Gedo clutch on Heat.

Nishimura continued his purification of Makai, destroying Yanagisawa in less than a minute.

And I also noticed that Takemura and "The Artist Formerly/Currently Known as Bryan Danielson" has began a feud with Takemura.

Cheers to Jado and Gedo, Tanahashi (props to Blue Wolf for a hell of a match) and Yasuda just sucks LOL.

I really wished GotoGuchi had won the belts.

Well I'm happy for Jado & Gedo. They were doing jobs left and right for a good part of the year without complaining, and now they're back on top.

Tanahashi is now a major player in New Japan. I could see him have a shot at the IWGP title very soon.
