    Who's Next...

for Shinsuke Nakamura, the supernova who defeated Yoshihiro Takayama to unify the NWF and IWGP Heavyweight Titles.
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...

During the Dome show, Tanahashi said he aims for Nakamura since Nakamura decreased the importance of the U-30 belt by winning the top prize. This will make for an interesting title match, but this might not exactly draw in more seats.

Well I'd love to see him fight Tanahashi, but it wouldn't make any sense at this time as Tanahashi still holds the U30 title and Nakamura is under 30! I'd feed him Makabe and or Yoshie first, then move to Sasaki.

Sasaki has to prove that he wants his job back and that he'll accept this job without complaining.

A few names that help establish Nakamura, but don't necessarily hurt NJ are :

Sasaki - despite loss to Yuji, still seen as a force and outside threat. Former champ (3 times) and would help buil Nakamura as a big time fighter for NJ, while Sasaki's future at NJ is unclear so they don't need him to stay strong

Tenryu- the legend lost to Nakanishi but is still as respected as any in Japan wrestling's history. By beating the all-time great in a title match, Naka would gain instant cred and NJ wouldnt lose much as Tenryu isnt a regular and he really woldnt lose much b/c he's 53 years old

Chono- aging guy on way out, seems to job at least once to all the champs so its inevitable it will happen, and a win looks good for Naka as Chono is still highly respected

Nakanishi- The Beast is feared but isnt champ material, has some big wins and will give Naka a good win over healthy competition in their prime, while another loss for Nakanishi wont hurt him any worse than all the others have

    I want to see:

#5) Murakami- this badace has it owed to him by Naka, and I love the killer Murakami attitude and juice rate
#4)MiSuzuki- I love the style of MiSuk and it works well with Naka. This should be fun if it ever happens and could give Naka some legit cred
#3)Nishimura- To revenge his loss and return to MUGA world in victory. And I'd like to see him work 20 plus minutes and Nish is the perfect guy to do that for him
#2)Tanahashi- The other future leader of NJ. It's bound to happen a half dozen times at least, so why not go for it now. I mean we want to see it right?
#1)Saku- I mean come on. A U Style match with Saku would rule. This could bring in the fans and give Naka super fighter status with win. They'd sell a lot of T-Shirts too.

Honorable Mention: Kobashi(Will never happen, and if it did, Kobashi would win anyways), KENTA(Would rule, but he's too small), Flair(The true legend, but that's a personal wish), Takada(The shoot style legend, but again, Takada would likely win), Sapp(Just to put the over-hyped K1 Giant down, and they have some history)

Well since some are throwing in names, here is one I would like to see

    Nakamura Vs. Kawada
Shining Triangle Vs. The Stretch Plum

Tenzan really deserves another shot, How about Nagata? Tanahashi would be idealistic, and I think it would draw. Kobashi...he'd kill Nakamura. Tenryu, that would be a bit of a challenge.

I'd like to see Nakamura vs. Chris Benoit. That would blow the roof off.

Sasaki - would be cool... PROVIDED... Sasaki agrees to job and doesn't squeal.

Tenryu - Not as good as Sasaki but also nice. Still you have valid points here.

Chono - I wonder why Chono keeps jobbing matches... he wins the useless ones and loses to everyone when it's the big one. Ex. (vs. Takayama, vs. Mutoh & Sapp, etc.) Just a question, is he still the booker of NJ? If Nakamura beats Chono, it will elevate his status. This is good for NJPW and Nakamura as a champion.

Nakanishi - He is reborn, yes. He looks good too. But I think it is too early for him to job for Nak. I think he has some ways to go, before facing Nak. Losing to Nak, IMO, will actually hurt him.

Hey, GlobalHonored, what happened to your old avatar? I loved that one... sob... sob...

Well it sounds as he won't defend the title again since he vacated it!

Oh I did. I did read the email. I think you were referring to the post replies and post message buttons. My first response is an honest mistake. My second response was directed to Global Honored's response.

Please accept my sincerest apologies if I have violated your protocols and rules. Sorry... I won't do it again. I promise...
