Yep, these are quite shocking results!

Kanemoto & Liger lost to Jado & Gedo! Wow...
Heat over Curry Man was obvious

Suzuki & Takayama over Tenzan & Nishimura is another odd one. Nishimura & Tenzan were a great team on paper. This pretty much means that they free'd up Tenzan... For the IWGP Heavyweight title?

Hopefully but I don't think it's going to happen. Not yet anyways. They're going to continue to shove Nak down our freakin throats and while some like it, I don't. If they were going to go with one of the "young generation" guys as champ I would have much rather it been Tanahashi. He's the one with the credentials so far. And I've enjoyed more of his matches then I have Naks.

I sure agree here. I would love to see Tanahashi defeat Takayama in round 1, then Chono (probably over Tenryu), and finally, Nagata in the final.

    This would be nice.

Suzuki and Tenzan should be a good one. Takayama put over Tanahashi I heard.

Yes, thety are a good team on paper, and New Japan seems to be wanting to keep a title on Takayama at all times.

I wouldn't be shocked if Chono wins the tag titles again. But what will they be doing with Takayama? Hope they don't give him the G1!

Seen Takayama and Suzuki defend the belts on 3/28. Do not know if they can get past Murakami and Chono
