After Tenzan's win over Genichiro Tenryu in the IWGP Tag Title Tournament, and an attack on Tenzan by Kensuke "Boy do you fans hate me" Sasaki, Nakanishi and Sasaki helped Tenryu to the back and Nakanishi shook hands with Sasaki and Tenryu and the three vowed to destroy New Japan.

Again, you have to give it to Chono on that one, the guy just understands wrestling and fans... Vince McMahon would need Chono in the WWE!

Anyways, this is really good for the faces. This faction will send off TAG and SINGLE challengers and make up a great feud before Nakamura comes back...

I sure hope Tenzan will still be champ by then and defeat the young star before facing Bob Sapp...

NJ has needed a veteran heavyweight heel faction for awhile, now these three, with two former champs and somebody who will be one day, will have some bloody wars with the regular army led by Tenzan and Nagata.

As long as they don't plan on giving the IWGP Heavyweight title to Tenryu or Sasaki, I have no problem with this...

That's what I thought at first, but it sure would make Sasaki an even bigger heel to win the belt, especially if Tenryu's involved a la WWE style. I hope they don't go that route, but with Makai Club using these tricks I wouldn't be shocked...

Unfortunately, my friends, with Inoki again up to his MMA bullshit, Sasaki and Tenryu may very well be the ones needed to keep the IWGP out of reach of those idiot shootfighters...

Just found out today that Scott Norton joined the Evil 3. They just went from Evolution to nWo. Good grief.

I like Norton, he's got that Monster -feel in Japan as he can beat anyone at any time. If used well, Norton could be a great tool for New Japan.

I love the nWo more than the Evolution.

But this team is good.

Tenryu brings the depth of experience.
Sasaki has his bullish strength and power.
Nakanishi has great strength and has a feud with Nagata.
Norton is also a big power house.

Overall, a very powerful combination.

"Pirates Gundan" is what Nakanishi called the group. Hopefully they won't get crazy and start adding new members left and right, though I think Blue Wolf could be a nice fit. If any of them do get the IWGP, hopefully it will be Nakanishi. Sasaki is so hated he doesn't need it (nor does he deserve it), and Tenyru's had plenty of title reigns, so he doesn't really need another when there's plenty of better candidates out there. Though, as a Tenzan, I hope he gets a decent run first.
