    WWE And New Japan Unite

Taken from Strong Style Spirit (thanks 3-S)

"New Japan Director Fumihiko Uei met up with WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Lauranitis over the weekend in Los Angeles and they had some productive conversations and there is a very good chance that there will be a talent sharing agreement made soon. There is talk that at least three NJ wrestlers could compete on the Smackdown shows in Japan at Nippon Budokan Hall on 7/16 & 7/17 and Uei expressed interest to Lauranitis that he wants at least one WWE wrestler (Uei mentioned either Chris Benoit or Eddy Guerrero) for the G1 Climax in August." >>

Ladies and gentlemen, we have WCW all over again.

That's great! I'll be watching that smackdown taping (if taped!) for sure!

I could see a NJ sending a Junior heavyweight (who will obviously lose) to the cruiserweight champ. Maybe Heat, or Tiger Mask...

And maybe a heavyweight squash. Someone like Makabe make easy use of a Smackdown midcarder...

Wow, is McMahon gonna let this happen???

Its not that much shock after thinking Johnny Ace being VP now, with his experience with All-Japan.

Benoit & Guerrero in the G1 this year, that could be good.

I highly doubt that McMahon would send his two current champions to the G1, consdering it is close to Summerslam. I kind of hope Triple H is sent over there, if only to have Chono execute a yakuza kick to his face, over and over again.

I highly doubt that, considering Triple H is virtually Vince's no. 2 man now, I doubt he job like that, unless the footage would unavailable in the US.

I am so hoping that one day Chavo Guerrero Jr (if he beats his daddy for the belt) says he challenged everyone and there is no one out there who can beat me.

    Cue "Ikari No Jushin"

Jushin "Thunder" Liger comes to the ring and destroys Chavito with a shotei for the 1, 2, 3.

But it is just a dream.

You know what the funny thing is?

Kenzuo Suzuki and his wife will be with the WWE very soon.

If this is all true i hope Vince does the right thing and brings in Chono or nagata or Tenzan. So the WWE fans see the the style of Japanese Wrestling and see that it is not at all bad.Becuase reasontly WWE has ben making fun of japanese wrestling.

I don't expect anything like that. Vince would rather push an untalented large man (Kenzo) than a really talented smaller man.

And about Nagata, do you really expect anybody other than Benoit to take stiff kicks from him?

    Na.

I think Tanahashi would be great in WWE. He has a real nice look to him. Also Nagata & Chono must show up! I think WWE fans would warm up to Nishimura, the guy is just golden. How would a Nishimura/Angle match look on a card? Liger would also be a must to bring over. And as far as untalented big men, I never did like Nakanishi, he would be good in the WWE for an extended stay.

As far as the G1, Benoit & Guerrero are good choices, I also like the idea of HHH, Angle (if healthy), or Y2J.

    Exciting things....
