    Nakamura's new move & Fujinami's pick for G1 Climax...

Shinsuke Nakamura announced today that he is working on a new special move called “El Nino”, which is a somersault/moonsault kick from the top rope. Nakamura plans to debut the move during the G1 Climax.

Tatsumi Fujinami predicted today that his disciple Hiroshi Tanahashi would defeat Shinsuke Nakamura in the Finals of the G1 Climax and would go on to win the IWGP Heavyweight Title. Fujinami said that Tanahashi has grown so much this year and this is his time to overthrow his seniors such as Masahiro Chono & Yuji Nagata and become the man in New Japan. Fujinami said that New Japan’s future would shine in this year’s G1 and a Nakamura/Tanahashi Final would be tremendous for the fans. Fujinami thinks the dark horse in this year’s G1 would be 2003 winner Hiroyoshi Tenzan, as not many people are picking him to win and he could surprise many fans. Fujinami also thinks that Koji Kanemoto & Katsuyori Shibata will have strong showings in the G1 and will improve their stock greatly.

I agree with him about Kanemoto. I liked from the beginning that Kanemoto was in the tourny. Shibata has definately grown in the past months.
