My opinion on Antonio is widely known to those who are long time posters, but check out this news.

Apparently Inoki is ready to come out of retirement. He has challenged the winner of the Akebono - Royce Gracie fight on the K-1 New years eve show. From there he plans to make himself the top dog of NJ in the ring.

There is a deeper matter at stake than the status of the locker romm about Inoki's return, like the survival of NJ. The company is on the skids (not thta ANtonio had anything to do with that), and a TV contract is at stake. If the TV contract is not renewed, then NJ sinks faster, if it is renewed than we get to deal with Inoki having full control over NJ rather than him having boundaries.

If NJ does not get renewed, then what is the fate of puroresu in general? Grim to say the least. Is the puroresu world ready for the recycled version of yesterday's biggest name?
