More cards for the upcoming "GOLDEN FIGHT SERIES 2005" have been announced and there are several talking points. Firstly, New Japan formally announced that Nakamura & Tanahashi would head off to Mexico for learning experience, so they will miss dates and the focus is a mix of what is left of the regular army vs. TJ vs. BNJ. Tanahashi said he wants to show the pro wrestling of New Japan in Mexico, while Nakamura wants to form a tag team with Noke Kekki-gun friend Taguchi while over there. Taguchi sent word not to underestimate the luchadores, because CMLL is in a golden age right now. Tanahashi faced Negro Casas as a rookie and that was actually his first big win, so would like to face him, and is also interested in tackling Gronda, who intrigues him. Nakamura would like to face Dos Caras Jr., a pro wrestler with MMA experience like himself, and would also like to train with him. Tanahashi said his condition is about 75% now, so he is recovering from his bad injuries of recent months. Nakamura wants to make the IWGP Tag Team Title known to the world and gain valuable experience from his excursion. Black Cat explained that New Japan and CMLL are closer than ever now, and a CMLL representative (Francisco Alonso) sent a long message to New Japan, talking about its 70 year history and how there are over 5,000 wrestlers in Mexico. Alonso's plan with this tie-up is to challenge New Japan's strength, because he knows New Japan is the strongest promotion in Japan, but thinks CMLL is stronger on a global level and is confident his wrestlers can beat their's. Black Cat announced their main CMLL schedule as the big 72nd anniversary show at Arena Mexico on on 9/16 and "G1 WORLD BIG SHOW" also at Arena Mexico on 9/30, where Nakamura and Tanahashi are likely to be paired against some of the strongest wrestlers in Mexico.
