According to SSS Brock Lesnar will make his debut for NJ at the Tokyo Dome. My question is what about the WWE? JR (in his Ross Report) said Lesnar made a bad decision by not taking WWE's deal, maybe his signing with NJ is why Ross made the comment. NJ also signed Matt Morgan. At least New Japan gets better WWE castaways than All Japan. Business is picking up in the Orient.

Well All Japan is getting Team 3D (Dudley Boyz). But this is an upgrade talent wise. Lesnar wants the IWGP title, I want to see him and Manabu Nakanishi or Yutaka Yoshie get it on.

The only problem with that is lesner is trying to get out of his no compete clause till 2010 by going to court with wwe on i think the 20th of this month an if the courts go with wwe lesner wont be able to compete on the 10/8 show which would be sad to say
When people wrestle only for the money, don't want to be apart of the regular programs, participate with fellow wrestlers in the regular schedule, it's trouble.
I'm at a loss as to why Lesnar is in this spot. If they're going to pay whatever ungodly sum of money he wants, shouldn't be used to elevate someone who is loyal to the company and really needs the rub? I realize how huge he is to the Japanese press, but Lesnar vs. Stalker Ichikawa would still get main event billing. Wouldn't it make more sense to make him job to someone loyal that NJ is trying to build up, instead of wasting a Lesnar job on Fujita who will leave NJ high and dry as soon as the opportunity presents itself? Just off the top of my head having him put over Smith, Nakanishi, Goto or Yano all seem like much better ideas/uses of Inoki's money that will still sell tickets. Lesnar's name alone will sell move tickets than last year's Osaka Dome show.
I don't blame Brock for not wanting to appear regularly with New Japan though. Look at what it's done for Josh Barnett's career. I highly doubt they would give him a Goldberg push either. I would like to think there was a lesson to be learned when Muto gave Goldberg a Goldberg push for 2 nights, watched him bury two top stars and then walk away without ever returning a job. You never can tell with New Japan though.
I'm a fan of New Japan, I don't know a lot about Josh Barnett, but I've heard he has talent. I just hope Brock Lesnar doesn't ever compete with the NJPW, him not wanting to compete regularly proves he isn't commited to this sport. Which, it really is a sport in Japan. He's only in wrestling for the money, and I don't think he'd work well with workers in the NJPW who are more talented than he is on the mat and such. Jim Ross saying it's a mistake for him not to sign with the WWE wasn't a slap at NJPW I'm sure. The NJPW puts on more great matches in a week than the WWE does in six months.
I hope Lesnar has learned the error of his ways and realizes that wrestling is his future. If he embraces the sport, which he should, he will be in a position to be the most dominant pro wrestler in the world. I just hope he understands the magnitude his impact on the sport has meant.
On paper he is the perfect wrestler: NCAA heavyweight champion, WWE heavyweight champion, mat wrestler, power wrestler, he has "it".
It's up to him if his head is in the game or not.

Well from what I understand NJ President Simon Inoki made the three way IWGP Heavyweight Title match (Fujita/Chono/Lesnar) a go.
IMHO, Lesnar is using this as a leveraging tool to get back in the WWE, I can't see him working anywhere else, if that was the case Lesnar would have signed a contract with TNA or ROH (Joe VS. Lesnar?). I do believe though he does want to wrestle in Japan, but I have a feeling we will see Lesnar back in the WWe before the year is over.

Who'd Muto send out for Goldberg to squash?

A-HA! (pronoun trouble) It's not "He doesn't have to shoot YOU now", it's "He doesn't have to shoot ME now". Well, I say he DOES have to shoot me now, so shoot me now! // *BLAM* // Yooooooooou're deth-picable!
Kojima and Kea, in Goldberg's first 2 nights in the company. Both matches went right around 4 minutes. Truly a disgrace. It made lots of sense too, since AJ had been trying to build both of them as headliners since the Mutoh/Kojima/Ka Shin jump. It goes without saying that Goldberg never returned those squash jobs.
