Angry 5/2/02 Tokyo Dome matches Announced

Apparently while Masahiro Chono was attending a public meeting at Naeba (the ski resort), he was attacked by Keiji Mutoh and "declared war" on New Japan. This has lead to another "Best of Five" series set for the Tokyo Dome.

    1. Kenzo Suzuki & Blue Wolf vs. Katsuyori Shibata & Wataru Inoue

    2. Minoru Tanaka, El Samurai & Masahito Kakihara vs. Koji Kanemoto, Jado & Gedo

    3. New Japan vs. All Japan: Osamu Nishimura vs. Taiyo Kea

    4. New Japan vs. All Japan: Kensuke Sasaki & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Genichiro Tenryu & Toshiaki Kawada

    5. New Japan vs. All Japan: Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Kendo Ka Shin

    6. New Japan vs. All Japan: Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Satoshi Kojima

    7. New Japan vs. All Japan: Masahiro Chono vs. Keiji Muto

    8. Naoya Ogawa & Don Frye vs. Tadao Yasuda & Manabu Nakanishi

    9. Yuji Nagata vs. Jun Akiyama (IWGP Heavyweight will be on the line, if Nagata beats Yasuda on April 5th)

Now its my turn to rant...I dont like this, we dont need to see this fued again. Didnt New Japan want NOTHING to do with All Japan after Mutoh left??? Now they put their differences aside?? I dont get it; I really wanted to see Chono vs. Misawa but now that has drifted away like a burp in the wind. Werent we told that we would have matches from other womens promotions, DDT, and wasnt Takehiro Murahama supposed to be on?? I know more matches could be announced but my gut says none of those 3 subjects will have anything to do with it. This concludes my rant.

Did you get this info from Stuart Max? Even I'm starting to doubt him since none of the Japanese language websites said anything about the card...

I'm pretty sure that the IWGP heavyweight match will be Nagata versus Akiyama. Imagine if they put NOAH's heavyweight belt on the line as well. That would be awe-inspiring.
