It wasn't a bad match as much as it was disappointing. The crowd was super dead. The match itself was a little slower paced than I would have liked. Early in Ohmari missed a top roped knee drop and Shamrock started to use some good ring Psychology and work on that knee but the crowd didn't understand it or they didn't know who Ohmari was but it really hurt the match. Then Jeff Jarrett does a run-in and beats them both with a chair for a no decision to show why it pays to be the booker. Disappointing all around.
i read on 1wrestling.com that the match was ended that way because nwa:tna wanted shamrock over omori to be a clean finish. the two promotions couldn't come to an agreement on that finish, so they just told jarret to do the r.i.
"uh, you're a tool?" rvd to big show after show wanted to know why he didn't get the ic title shot
Its kind of ironic to see NOAH worry about Ohmori doing a job to someone now. Haven't they spent the past six to eight months jobbing him out to anyone they see as a "potiental" superstar? Sorry but 3/4ths of the NOAH roster doesn't even have one such superstar.
Popular opinion has it that NOAH is a biblical reference, with Misawa leading most of All Japan's roster away from the wicked Mrs. Baba, as Noah lead him and his family away from the wicked people of the world. Seems a bit egotistical, comparing himself with a biblical figure, but this is Misawa we're talking about. As for why NOAH is capitalized, I dunno, capitalization is more fun, I guess.
people, people. where's the love? we are supposed to be working on a mission to bring down the circus act "rasslin" we are force fed and replace it with puroresu.

hon·ky or hon·kie also hon·key Pronunciation Key (hôngk, hng-)
n. Offensive Slang pl. hon·kies, also hon·keys Used as a disparaging term for a white person.
hehehehe.... funny how we degenrated this post into an argument about the use of the word honkey. Someone could of gotten really offensive but they didn't
Little less of the petyy arguements. No one is in the wrong - just a moral clash.
Anyway, I agree with Luds and Lariat - Omori was to be a big star in NOAH - yet he's been a jobber to the stars. Go to All Japan Takao - I beg of you!!!
