    What Is Misawa Thinking?

    Why am I writing this?

Well if you saw NOAH's last results (7/26/02), you saw that GHC Heavyweight title holder Yoshinari Ogawa

defeated Takeshi Rikio in his second title defense... And this time, it's not with a cradle move like on the title defense against Akira Taue. He actually pinned Rikio with a backdrop suplex hold!!!!

What is going on over there? Are thay on crak?

This makes Rikio look like such a loooooooooser!

Ok, I admit I've never really followed NOAH all that closely, but if I remember from AJPW, isn't Yoshinari Ogawa a jr. hvywt? Am I confusing him with somebody else? Or is this an angle like Mikey Whipwreck winning the ECW title?

Ogawa IS a jr. heavyweight! He beat Jun Akiyama in less than 5 minutes to take the GHC crown, and then pinned Akira Taue & Rikio in his first 2 title defenses!

He'll now face Yoshihiro Takayama in his next title defense, and then there are talks that he'll face Genichiro Tenryo to unifiy the NOAH GHC & the TC!!!

THIS IS WRONG! MISAWA has to stop this (but won't) he's the one pushing for his "misawa light" friend...

COULD you see the following in NJ:
Minoru Tanaka pins Nagata in less than 5 minutes to take the IWGP heavyweight title...

Than he pins both Fujinami and Sasaki in his first 2 title defenses...

IS something wrong in this picture?

    Ok, fellas. Let's calm down.

There are rumors of Tenryu being unhappy on political shift in All Japan. There are also rumors of Tenryu maybe leaving All Japan. (It wouldn't suprise me, he's done it once already) So this whole jibba-jabba about a unification of the Triple Crown and the GHC Heavyweight title is niether here nor there.

I was saying the above was really bad. I don't buy the unification talk.

There should be plenty of newsworthy things happening in late-August to early-September.

Well Mutoh-Mania, I wouldn't tell you to buy any current NOAH tape that's for sure

However, the GHC Heavyweight title history tape is pretty good... Did you check that one out? It's on Highspot... like 5 Misawa matches, including Misawa-Akiyama twice, and of course,

... The sweet Ogawa victory against Akiyama in 4:20! Did I mention my satisfaction about this match yet

Maybe 4:20 is a clue as to what influenced Misawa to make that booking decision....

Haha, yeah, that's it, Misawa's rocking the gange!
