Takayama Injured...

Yoshihiro Takayama will be sidelined for several months due to injuries he suffered in the 9/23 Nippon Budokan title match against Mitsuharu Misawa. Takayama has already had to cancel bookings for New Japan's 10/14 Tokyo Dome and PRIDE's 11/24 Tokyo Dome shows. Takayama suffered a dislocated left shoulder during a dropkick spot. However, Takayama injured his right eye socket (fractured it) during two German Suplex spots with Misawa on the 9/23 Budokan show. Takayama's left eye socket was the one that got fractured in the brutal PRIDE fight a few months ago against Don Frye.

Wonder what this means for the GHC. Hopefully Misawa WON'T put it back on Mini-Misawa

Well Takayama has had an interesting few weeks hasn't he. Only a mtter of time for Ogawa to get the title now I fear.
