Kenta Kobashi's new finisher.

I hear Kobashi has a new finisher called the "Diamond Head" If anybody has seen it could you please describe what exactly this new move is. Thanks

Well, either way, i guess it's just a spike-style powerbomb, basically.

From what I understand the Diamond Head is a Spike Powerbomb where Kobashi drops you on your head.

I've seen it...and it looks painful.

I've see a clip of it, and in that one he starts out like a TF bomb, then spins the victem around mid move into somehting resembling an Amaze Impact.

What is the Amaze Impact? I know one of the members of Wild 2 uses it, and I believe it is Takeshi Morishima.

It's not all that new. He broke it out in late '02 and nearly killed poor Kanemaru with it. It's quite dangerous and he would likely only use it as a super finisher in the future against someone who really trusted him in the ring. Kobashi is a Super Pro, but he doesn't want to hurt anyone or even risk that possibility, so much like past All Japan killer moves of yester-year that he, Kawada and Misawa used to "kill" one another with after nothing else worked but took their toll on the recipient and his future, the Diamon Head will likely be kept n storage, save for a very special occassion.

GlobalHonored is right, it's one of those movies kept for special matches only. Not only does the opponant have to trust Kobashi 100% but it's also a question of weight. Kobashi couldn't just pull that move off against anyone... Forget about it for guys like Tenzan or Takayama as they're too big.

i have a japanese wrestling game, King of Colosseum, and Kobashi does the Diamondhead move. My first reaction was that he messed the move up, but then I thought "since when do they have botched moves in video games?"

it's a sick looking move....
