-We know the first challenger will be relatively weak as it is between Honda, Saito & Scorpio. I personally like the Saito match up. The Burning-Sterness feud. Saito stopping Kobashi & Shiga from winning tag titles months back. He's got a lot of charisma that makes up for flaws in his ability or arsenal. Good segway into Akiyama if NOAH needs that matchup, that is if they can't draw any outside headliners or major draws. I personally would love to see Vader return, even for just 1 show to challenge Kobashi and relive their great feud. A match with Scorpio could lead into that barring TNA restrictions. Honda doesn't do much for me. Burning turmoil? Wave just disbanned. I don't know. I think that would be worse case. I hear Bob Sapp's name again. Big draw but looks to be awful match and I'd hate to see Kobashi job to an MMA guy that is unproven in the ring and also NOAH getting involved with Wrestle-1 is a scary thought. Chono? Could be something. They worked well on 1-10. Great draw possibility. Akiyama or Misawa would have to do likewise for Nagata though I would imagine. Taue could be a good guy for a smaller event. Nakanishi? That would be wonderful. Those two would put on a show. Hashimoto? Again, good idea, if Shinya loses the TC to Kobashi, Kobashi could lose it back to Kawada, setting up 2 big time matches. Howard & Corino could invade and challenge Akiyama & Saito as well in an all out Z1-NOAH feud. THere are a lot of ways this could play out. ANy other ideas?
I would like to see Scorpio challenge Kobashi, and have a long feud ending with Scorpio winning the GHC, becoming the first gaijin to hold it.
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...
I'd love to see Kobashi drop the belt to Akira Taue, after going through some top challengers(Akiyama, Chono, Saito, Takayma, Takuma Sano and Scorpio).

Chono v Kobashi 5/2 will be incredible if it does indeed go through. Those two really seemed to have some chemistry when they scrapped in January in tag action so potentially they could really blow the doors off. This time though, it's Kobashi stepping into a foreign ring and may have to try and adapt more of a NJ style, as Chono in NOAH played well to the NOAH style while trading chops with Kobashi & Taue. 5/2 is being advertised as a mixed styles event though so perhaps this fits into that program as such.
Personally, I want to see Vader triumphantly return and have a big run with the GHC before he retires and eventually lose it Scorpio, but that would never happen. I'm looking forward to Chono/Kobashi as well. I'm not sure it would happen on 5/2 though. Isn't the 5/2 show supposed to be totally VT(vale tudo)?

It's gonna be half VT/half wrestling. The card looks okay thus far...Kobashi vs Chono is obviously the big money maker though.
