I think if Rob Van Dam ever decided on a change of scenery,NOAH would do nicely.I know Japan tries to shy away from the gimmicky angles that make western wrestling, more times than not, unwatchable but Van Dam's laid back arrogant personality would certainly infuriate Misawa or Kobashi and make for an interesting fued.Plus when it comes down to it,he can deliever the goods.....please don't tar and feather me for even suggesting this.

Van Dam already had toured with All-Japan pre-split and didn't do much. His best matches were PWF junior heavyweight title shots against Fuchi, Y. Ogawa, and Dan Kroffat, none of which he won. Since the NOAH fanbase is essentially composed of (idiotic) Misawa-AJ loyalists, it's quite predictable what RVD would see if he tried with them.
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...
I honestly wasn't even aware that Kroffat was still in it.Last time I saw him was as a teenager...we could pick up CBC in Detroit and he was in the same league as Alofa,Eddie Creachman, and Vachon I think...this was like 1986.

I think you mean the old Dan Kroffat, who was known in Canada as Kroffat and everywhere else as King Krow. The one I'm talking about is the one known briefly as Phil Lafon in ECW and the WWF/E.
If you're never seen Rob wrestle in All Japan it's something worth checking out. He wrestled a totally different style when he worked in Japan, with very few high flying moves or high spots. The RVD we saw in ECW would be the perfect person to do the angle to infuriate Misawa or Kobashi. The best part about Rob is that he believes everything he says on TV. Don't believe that he's far and away the best worker in world? Just ask him, he'll tell you himself. I really don't know how NOAH's fanbase would react to out RVD. I think it would be interesting, and at least he would get to escape The Triple H Effect. Of course, NOAH does have The Misawa Effect though...

At least constantly losing to Misawa wouldn't be so bad,he's got more than 5 holds that he can do,Rob would never get the feeling of jobbing out to a no talent.Triple H is a bum....ok,maybe he would rule in a super posedown but beyond that I think wrestling Bill Mulkey would be a better match.

Hey speaking about Van Dam.Has Rob ever worked for NJPW i saw this match and there was this wrestler that looked like Van Dam by the looks of it i think it took place in the early 90's.And if some wrestled in japan for a well run group would they be able to hold any tiltles if they wore Street Clothes like Homicide(the wrestler)?
SABU IS THE KING OF WRESTLING!!!!! AND I LIKE MOONPIES!!!!!!
